The dangers associated with aluminum foil continue to surface as time progresses. For one, it is extremely dangerous to inhale this metal as it can cause respiratory problems including but not limited to pulmonary fibrosis. When cooked at a high temperature, specks of foil can fuse with your food making it easy for you to consume the metal without your knowledge.
Say no to the foil
“The higher the temperature, the more the leaching. Foil is not suitable for cooking and is not suitable for using with vegetables like tomatoes, citrus juice or spices," says chemical engineering researcher Dr Essam Zubaidy. It's recommended to never ingest more than 60 mg of aluminum daily
